In October 2023, SCD and Storybook Preschool began a partnership, providing 2-hour preschool groups twice a week, Monday-Thursday. There were 7 children in each group, who were on SCD’s waitlist and would likely not have participated in an ECCL program prior to kindergarten. Kylee, Sam, Esmé and Maura were Support Workers and Candis was Consultant. The group was valuable in assisting the children to develop social skills, communication skills in a structured and inclusive environment.
