As the father of an adult daughter that was born with Spina Bifida, Al has a long association with the CDC and a great appreciation of the critical nature of the centre’s services. Al is also on the Board of the British Columbia Association of Child Development and Intervention (BCACDI). The association represents most of the province’s charitable child development agencies in BC, playing an important advocacy role for children and youth with special needs across the province. Alan is a Registered Professional Engineer and works for the City of Prince George as an Infrastructure Engineer. As a member of the Board Building Committee, Al has lent his professional expertise toward the centre’s most recent expansion and renovation projects.
