Department Updates
Looking Back on a Year of Growth🌱
This past year has opened up exciting opportunities for the CDC to expand our programming and services. We’ve been connecting with families through centre-based appointments, in-home visits, community outreach, and virtual sessions—meeting families where they are.
Thanks to generous donations and grant funding, we’ve also expanded our group offerings, providing more opportunities for children to expand their skills for daycare/preschool integration and kindergarten readiness.
📣 Be sure to check out our annual updates from each department to learn more about what’s been happening across our programs. And don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop with news and upcoming events!

Update from Child and Family Services Coordinator
Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors and donors, we are thrilled to unveil a beautifully transformed space at McGhee House. Over the past year, the upstairs level has undergone thoughtful renovations, creating a warm, inviting environment where children and families can gather for specialized group programs and personalized consultations.
This new space reflects our commitment to fostering connection, healing, and support for every family we serve.
Putting "Fun" in Fundraising!
The CDC continues to soar with two exciting fundraisers this year! Our 2nd Annual Cash for Kids 50/50 brought in a jackpot of over $13,000, thanks to our incredible community. And now, we’re inviting you to take part in our most adventurous raffle yet—the Dream Vacation Raffle, running until September 15th. The lucky winner will be drawn on September 16th right here at the Centre!
