Welcome to our second annual online Kid Connection Newsletter.  We are proud to bring you updates on all aspects of your local Child Development Centre, details on local events, and child development tips and information.  

September brings the return of our Annual General Meeting and all caregivers are invited to attend.  Guardians are welcome to join as a member of the association to participate in voting.  Please contact the centre if you would like more information.

Preschool Programming

Power Play Program: for ages birth to five years provides opportunity for socializing and supporting one another.  It runs Monday and Wednesday from 10:00-11:30am and Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00-2:30pm.

Engage Sport North: Located at UNBC Sports Centre offers Active Stars. A free program for 2 to 5 year olds running Monday to Thursday from 9-11am.  Contact through link on website.  Active Star – Engage Sport North

Strong Start Programs at your local school for ages birth to 5 years, runs from September to June.  Each program has different days and times so if you go to the website link you can find one that might work for you.   – School District No. 57 (sd57.bc.ca)

Prince George Public Library – The library runs drop-in programs called Story time and Baby Time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays starting in September.  Check out their website for more information: Programs and Events | PGPL
