Welcome!
We have been helping improve the developmental outcomes of the region's children for over 40 years. From serving several children in 1968, we will provide services to over 1000 children this year.Our services are designed to help the whole child, including the development of social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and communication skills. We offer a variety of services and support for children from birth through 19 years of age. Our Therapy and Supported Child Development programs are for children that require extra support, such as children with special needs, developmental delays, and/or behavioural issues. Our daycare and preschool services are open to children of all abilities, including those with typical development.
The Child Development Centre is a non-profit society. Our funding is provided through the Ministry of Children and Family Development, user fees (where applicable), and community-based fund raising.
