Accounting and HR Coordinator (Part Time)

In this highly collaborative role you, will be reporting to the Executive Director and be responsible for all accounting and payroll processes, and for assisting with Human Resources duties.  We are looking for someone who has:

  • a solid understanding of accounting principles, practices and procedures
  • strong computer skills, an intermediate proficiency in Excel
  • excellent analytical, organizational skills and judgement
  • team-oriented with strong initiative and self-motivation

Ideally, you have post-secondary education related to Business / Commerce from a recognized educational institution with recent related experience, including the use of computerized accounting software.

This exempt role is anticipated to be a half time position, with an hourly range from $23 to $33 per hour.  Wages and benefits will be negotiated, based upon education and experience. The position's job description is available here.

Administrative Assistant (Part Time)

You are friendly, detailed oriented and highly organized. This position will support the staff with their administrative needs, and also update children’s charts, answers calls, and greet the public. You preferably have completed an Office Administration training program, have related experience, strong general office and computer skills, and a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.
This will be a .3 to .5 position (652 – 978 hours per year), working a minimum of 1 day per week. In additional to regular scheduling, you will provide coverage for leaves (sick, vacation, etc.) for the other administrative staff. Supported Child Development Worker (Casual)

Supported Child Development workers assist children that require additional support in order to participate in family and group daycare’s, preschool and after school care settings. Post Secondary training such as Early Childhood Care & Learning (ECCL) Certificate, ECCL Assistant’s Certificate, Education Assistant Certificate or Community School Support (CASS) is required for this position. Minimum 2 years experience working with children with special needs is essential.
